The OvationTix product development team has been busy! Give them a few minutes of rest and read about some recent enhancements over the prior months. Contact your account executive or client services with any questions or more ways OvationTix can help.
For those accounting and finance gurus, your own ledger code or payment ID can be added when processing a donation. That code appears in its own column in reports so you can easily track revenue across platforms. And of course it appears on any exported reports as well.
Have you noticed some reports pulling a little faster? We went “under the hood” and optimized some reporting speeds so transaction activity and reporting output is almost instantaneous.
For those data miners out there, you can now select multiple fundraising campaigns in the same filter layer and add as many filters as you wish to a report. Use this new enhancement to prospect donors or augmented donor asks across myriad campaigns, or pull reports based off your patrons’ entire attendance history.
You might be particularly pleased to filter by the first date your donor or buyer created an account so you can prioritize patrons based on their seniority or communicate with them when they’re approaching a milestone anniversary with your organization: their first event, first donation, etc.
Or use the improved geolocation filter to send targeted communications to patrons within a certain radius, outside of a certain radius or in specific zip codes.
Saved by zero! Reports now filter output if certain fields are empty. So you now only need to pull accounts with valid email or postal addresses for future sales, donation or service messages.
The most recent CultureTrack report indicates that live event attendance is up, but consumers are decreasing their attendance across different types of events. In other words, theater people are seeing more theater, music people are attending more concerts, but there is less overlap. OvationTix now offers reporting to help either increase engagement in a particular artform or to promote across different types of experiences offered by your venue. Use the “Genre” designation to categorize your events (musical, play, family event, etc.) and search across patrons on genres of series purchased. Of course you can still run reports off each series by name, but this will save time especially for large venues that have been OvationTix partners for several years.
Working with the monkey just got easier … MailChimp users now can synch Patron Report results directly to a list segment. Now just report, push and send that targeted email campaign.
My Reports now features more output features on the Fundraising Details page to help you create the best possible acknowledgements and appeals. Just can’t get enough? Neither could we: checkout questions can now feature sales channel display settings, you can change the delivery method of an order in one quick step, disable package pricing on the series level with one click and send notification email to admin users for package purchases. Plus, visit the Help Center for a sneak peek at event advance sales using My Reports!
And keep checking the blog and your email for upcoming new highlighting the latest features and some best practices in using OvationTix.
We’re thrilled to be your partner and excited to see how these and future enhancements can help you!
