From Andy Slater:
When the sales team is on the road and visiting our OvationTix partners, we hear a common theme when it comes to knowing who’s in your house … the more information that can be provided about the patron, the better. So, let’s talk about the enhancements that we’ve made to our Who’s Coming feature and how we can help you know more about who’s filling your seats at a glance.
Have you ever had a patron buy a multiple tickets on behalf of their friends, family members, etc. and wonder how can you communicate with those attendees? For example, Mary is having a girls night out with five of her friends. When she buys her six tickets online, you’re only collecting her information. Well, ask no more; the “Who’s Coming +1” feature now allows you to collect the contact information of everyone in the party. So when Mary purchases the tickets, she can add the email addresses of her friends. You’ll now be able to send pre/post show notifications to the entire group, and you can communicate with them at a later date for other email initiatives.
Another new feature to identify and differentiate your patrons are the Donor Flags. An additional icon to your Who’s Coming Report will indicate if an individual has donated recently, a year ago, or if they are a lapsed donor of more than two years. This will give your front of house manager, board member, director, or any other member of your team the opportunity to greet them and thank them for their support. Or, if they are a lapsed donor you can subtly slip them a donation card and ask them to renew their support!
While we’re on the subject of the Who’s Coming Report, are you taking advantage of the Check-In Mode recently enabled? This is a great way for you to quickly check-in attendees in lieu of scanning or tearing tickets. With a laptop or tablet, your ushers can quickly access the Who’s Coming Report and with a simple finger swipe mark them as arrived. Wait, you have multiple entry points to your venue? No problem! The Check-In Mode works in real time, so if you have multiple tablets set up to check folks in it will be recorded instantly and on all devices.
If you have any questions, please feel free to call your OvationTix Account Executive or our Client Services team. We’re looking forward to seeing you next time we’re on the road!
